Original artwork for Saga of the Original Human Torch #3 (Marvel, 1990), page 11 by such talents as Rich Buckler (pencils) and Alfredo Alcala (inks). From the story, "Out of the Ashes..." this issue features early WW II adventures of the original Golden-Age Human Torch (Jim Hammond). This is a action-packed page featuring many hero's fighting for America and the Allies during World War II. Included herein are Captain America and Bucky (panel 1), the Sub-Mariner stopping a tidal wave (panel 2), the Whizzer (panel 3), Miss America thwarting an army of Living Mummies in Africa (panel 4), and the Human Torch and Toro preventing a gigantic man-made forest fire from ravaging the U.S. and Canada (panels 5-6). All in all, this page simply ROCKS, loaded with action and Golden-Age heroes.
