Original artwork for Phantom Stranger (Vol. 2) #11 page 13 (DC, 1971) by the incomparable Jim Aparo (pencils, inks and letters). From the story, "Walk Not in the Desert's Sun...", (written by Gerry Conway) in which the Phantom Stranger travels to the Sudan in order to investigate a bizarre glowing pyramid that hovers in the sky that causes people to fall into violent behavior before vanishing without a trace. This scene features the Phantom Stranger coming to the rescue of the blonde bombshell Lynn Berg, who has fallen captive within this unexplained pyramid, as two Egyptian adversaries enter the chamber to attacked them. Great page has wonderful classic images of the Phantom Stranger, especially in panel one, including three large panels as well as two dramatic close-up shots.
