Description:
Original artwork for Rima the Jungle Girl #6 (DC, 1975), page 8 by the late great Nestor Redondo (pencils and inks). From the story entitled "Safari of Death," written by seasoned scribe Robert Kanigher. Great action page is highlighted by a large two-thirds splash panel as Rima runs across a jungle river by using a living bridge of floating alligators (just the way Roger Moore portraying secret agent James Bond 007 did in the movie, "Live and Let Die" in 1973), in order to rescue Abel from Trask and his greedy band of hunters.

Rima art is rare and seldom offered on the open market. These pages are a vivid and lasting testament to the remarkable talent of Nestor Redondo, who was one of the most gifted artists to emerge in the comic book market during the 1970's.
