Phantom Stranger Vol. 2 #15 page 9 (DC, 1971) original artwork by Jim Aparo (pencils and inks). From the chilling tale by Len Wein, "Iron Messiah" this scene features the first app. of the stories' title character as he takes charge of the small African village by showing his strength in combat and declaring, "I am Chuma, the Warrior god...and I come to answer your call!" Nice shot in the last panel of the mysterious Phantom Stranger as he watches from the shadows, all the while pondering a most cryptic warning, "You have done what you said, John Kweli - you have given your people a god! But you walk a path where no man should tread."

Phantom Stranger artwork by Aparo is rather tough to come by. Page is in excellent condition with an image size measuring 10" x 15."
