Description: Impressive full color LE lithograph entitled, "The Fabulous Fifty-six," which features the Hall of Fame legend Joe DiMaggio in his full New York Yankee glory of yesteryear. Nicknamed "Joltin Joe," "the Yankee Clipper" or just "Joe D," DiMaggio ranks as one of the greatest and most celebrated New York Yankees of all-time. With such outstanding career stats as 9x World Series Champion, 13x All-Star, 3x AL MVP, 2x AL batting Champion and 2x home run leader, his feats on the baseball diamond are nothing short of outstanding. However, his most phenomenal achievement is, most certainly, his astonishing 56 consecutive game hitting streak, which he accomplished in 1941 - a remarkable record that still stands to this very day and will, most likely, never be broken or equaled. This beautiful LE was illustrated and signed by artist Christopher Paluso and is numbered 21 out of 56 total prints. The short print run was printed by Campus Photography of San Diego in 2003 and measures 17.5" x 23." Comes with the original Certificate of Authenticity, also signed by artist Paluso. This piece was not signed by Joe DiMaggio.
