Description:
Original title page artwork for Rima the Jungle Girl #6 (DC, 1975) by the super talented Nestor Redondo (pencils and inks). Opening shot for the story entitled "Safari of Death," by seasoned scribe Robert Kanigher, which takes place in Parahuari, west of the Orinoco River in Venezuela. Abel passes off Trask and his band of hunter's probing questions about the existence of the fabled white jaguar, whose hide would be priceless, as well as the legendary myth of Rima, the wild Jungle Girl. Abel answers their questions by saying, "I'm a guide...not a hunter! Save your money Trask! There's no such animal...except in dreams, perhaps!"

Exquisite detailed rendering by Redondo, who was one of the most gifted artists to emerge in the comic book market during the 1970's.
