For the grim tale, "Walk Not in the Desert's Sun...", (written by Gerry Conway) in which the Phantom Stranger travels to the Sudan in order to investigate a bizarre glowing pyramid that hovers in the sky that causes people to fall into violent behavior before vanishing without a trace. This two-page battle action sequence features the climatic clash between the mysterious Phantom Stranger and his evil adversary, Tannarak who serves the "gods of Hate."
