Pulse-pounding piece of original artwork for Jungle Action #9 page 22 (Marvel Comics, 1974), by the talented team of Gil Kane (pencils) and Klaus Janson (inks). This extremely cool piece from the story, "But Now the Spears are Broken" depicts the climatic fight scene between the Black Panther and the evil encroaching, Baron Macabre (the villain's very first appearance) and his Denizens of Death in the jungle of Wakanda. Dynamic no-holds-barred all out battle action in the Mighty Marvel Tradition - Just the Way We Demand it!

Artwork is in excellent condition with image size measuring 10" x 15." Panel #2 is a paste-in panel - artwork that was drawn on a separate piece of art paper and substituted into place for the final published page. This was usually done due to an editorial decision, not uncommon in Bronze-Age artwork from the early to mid 1970's.
