Description: This is an absolutely stunning EPIC piece by one of the most talented artists working in the medium today - Greg Land. Land was commissioned by the United States Post Office to create this wonderful masterpiece, which hung in the various USPO across the country to advertise the release of the very first and only set of Marvel Comics' stamps. The artwork is massive in size - 18.5" x 25" and is rendered on three pieces of comic book board. The art features Marvel's greatest and most famous heroes as the Amazing Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, the Fantastic Four, Doctor Strange, Wolverine, Spider-Woman, the Silver Surfer, the Sub-Mariner, the Invincible Iron Man, Daredevil and Elektra, Captain America and the Falcon along with O'l Stan "The Man" Lee himself. Pen and ink fully illustrated by Land. It is the practice of the USPO to not let advertisement pieces get out of their hands and/ or sold.
