This issue features no less than five meticulously researched and wonderfully written in-depth articles on Edgar Rice Burroughs’ second literary work, The Outlaw of Torn. These feature articles were written by such Burroughs experts and enthusiasts as the late Frank Westwood, Rod Jackson and Laurence G. Dunn. These pieces explore the novel from various aspects, including the rich English history in which the story is interwoven. This issue is highlighted by Frank Frazetta’s unforgettable painting The Outlaw of Torn, which was used for the cover of the paperback novel in 1973 and 1978.
