Original artwork for Incredible Hulk #139 (Marvel, 1971) by the ever popular Green Goliath extraordinaire artist, Herb Trimpe (pencils) and Sam Grainger (inks). From the classic tale, "Many Foes Has the Hulk," this end page simply has it all, including a multitude of good images of the Hulk as he surrounds his archenemy, the Leader, who has been trying to kill the Green Goliath with his Mentallo-Projector, which creates artificial constructs of Hulk's greatest foes. Jim Wilson uses the Leader's own device against him by projecting five Hulks to surround the Leader which causes the gamma spawned mastermind to descend into a catatonic state. Page also features a cool panel of the Hulk going toe-to-toe with his greatest archenemy, the Abomination, as well as General "Thunderbolt" Ross, Glenn Talbot and even Betty Ross, who had been transformed into a fragile glasslike state after a blood transfusion from the Sandman.

In sum, this piece is a great end page from a classic issue that features more images of the Incredible Hulk than one could hope for. Signed by Herb Trimpe at lower right margin.
