This timeless epic tale features the origin of Norman of Torn - the greatest swordmaster the world has ever known and the most feared outlaw in medieval England. Copy is in NM+ 9.6 like-new condition, unread and uncirculated to the public and signed on the inside by Hughes and Yeates. Beautiful painted cover by Alan Lathwell. This LE includes two terrific articles by Burrough's experts Frank D. Westwood - "An Introduction to The Outlaw of Torn" - that covers the creation and publishing history of the original story and Rod Jackson's "In Search of the Outlaw", which explores the fascinating historical characters and aspects of 13th century England and the Second Baron's War.
