Description: Original artwork page 20 for Batman Son of the Demon GN (DC, 1987) by Jerry Bingham. This book represents the very first and one of the most important Batman graphic novels in the history of the character. A commercial and critical success and, without any doubt, a bona fide masterpiece in storytelling and illustration.  A very cool page depicting Batman as he investigates the recent murder of Dr. Blaine in his office, while interrogating John Pearson-Blaine's business partner, Harris Blaine-son, and Professor Margaret Trask. Penciled and painstakingly inked with a quill pen by Bingham, dip and ink, dip and ink etc., with an amazing amount of time and attention given to the rendering and tiny details . Very reminiscent of the legendary Hal Foster's work. Comic book illustration at its zenith!  Page is HUGE! Paper measuring 15" x 20" with image size of approx. 12" x 16" (twice-up art). In excellent condition on heavy illustration paper.
